Build your base and establish your forces As the only remaining occupant of an Avaris Corporation deep-space mining vessel, you’ve arrived in orbit around a barren-looking planet. While you’re trying to get over being frozen for more than a century, you’re dropped to the surface as the ship’s AI outlines your Ore mining targets. Build a power network, set up Harvesters and refine Ore before sending it to orbit for Credits. Build walls and turrets to protect your base. Deploy tanks and artillery to push the Calyx back before it gets too strong. Balance your base’s energy requirements carefully to avoid vital defences being down on power. Secure rare deposits and unlock new technologies to improve your mining and military capacity. Discover new and dangerous Calyx variants as you try to gain control of the planet and return home! Develop and refine your playing style Will you establish a strong defence, or attack the Calyx before it spreads too far? Dig in and build a massive force, or adopt a mobile and nimble strategy?
